2026 EVENT 5 - FULL SEND FINALE

Inspired by “Running Isabel,” from the 2025 CrossFit Games, this finale takes the classic sprint-and-snatch concept and turns it into a fast-paced team race. With synchronized opening and closing rounds surrounding aggressive alternating solo efforts, teams will be pushed to manage speed, transitions, communication, and composure under fatigue. Short enough to go full throttle — long enough for mistakes to matter.

Full details, including movement standards and expanded information on the workout flow, will be available later this summer. Please hold off on asking questions about the workouts until these documents and videos are released. This information will be emailed and posted on Competition Corner.

Pending the final facility layout and any unforeseen logistics, all events are subject to change at the sole discretion of the event director. If any changes are made between the workout being published and the start of the event, athletes will be notified by email.

NOTES

  • During SYNCHRO reps, BOTH athletes must show full lockout at the same time for the rep to count. Athletes do not need to move simultaneously — if one athlete reaches overhead first, they may wait at lockout for their partner before completing the rep.
The Tag-Up Line applies on the opening round plus all 6 alternating solo rounds — the first 7 total runs DOWN. If athletes fail to properly tag-up, teams will either be sent back OR assessed a 15sec penalty per infraction at judge’s discretion. All barbells will be “Stubby” Barbells (25#/35#).
  • Ground-to-Overhead reps may be completed as a Snatch, Clean & Jerk, Clean & Push Press, or any combination throughout the workout. This only applies to divisions noted above.
  • Recreational and Masters Recreational athletes may not drop the barbell from above knee height.
    • Any violation of the above barbell standards will result in a no-rep PLUS a 30sec time penalty added to the team’s final score.
  • All other divisions may drop barbells freely, provided athletes and equipment remain safely within their platform area during all reps.
